Happy birthday Henrik!

Today's post is in honor of my brother Henrik, who is turning 50. For some it might seem to be a lot and it is, but when I think of him and what his is capable to, it is not, and I truly admire him for his lifestyle. He and his wife has for the last maybe 10 years run one or more marathons each year; in Berlin, Paris, København, Dresden and even on the island of Bornholm they have done it, and I'm sure that they will continue for many years ahead. They both run over 100 kilometers a month, and my brother is the fastest runner I have ever tried to follow, and if he didn't slow down, just not to break my own confidence, I would never have thought that I was a runner too. But compared to him, I'm not. Today his turns 50 and hereby, to all the world, I want to congratulate and pay his tribute as he is the best brother I could possible wish. It is not that we are so close, as I have been away from Denmark for over 10 years now, but when I come back on a visit, he and his family is always there, as if I was a best friend. And I really appreciate that, like I appreciate that he and his family always has come to visit me where ever I were, and also -like me- lost their heart to Dresden, which they visit for quite some times, and to where I am sure they will go again even I'm not living there anymore.
Henrik; congratulations with your 50 years, and promise me to keep the way you are now, then you will have plenty more to go, and even also appreciate it.
Please could everybody who knows my brother Henrik -or just have met him once or twice- write a comment on his behalf here beneath and if he do not read it him self, I will let him know. Please.

Henrik længe leve, Hurra.
Kærlig hilsen din lillebror.
