The special day

Warum ist dieser tag denn so speziel? Ist es weil I will write in both English and Deutsch? Oder is it because es ist die erste post in more als one month? Or ist es because heute is the 29th of Februar, and you will not kriegen einen Post von me auf this tag and date den next 4 years?

Visitors from Ohio.

There has been visitors here in Hong Kong, and because I'm the one who got time, I'm the one who is taking people around. Like for instance in January where Mike & Eleanor from Edmonton in Ohio came for a visit at Bob and Yvonne's house.Mike & Eleanor spend two years at Dresden International School, and made this trip to see and meet former colleagues now living in Manila and here in Hong Kong. Here they are at the temple of the 10.000 Buddhas, it is Mike on the left with the blue jacket. in fact there is more than 10.000 Buddhas at the temple and it is really amazing to go up there, all though you might think that there is 10.000 steps.11 Freunde from the golden generation.

Visitors in March

Next week we will have visitors here at our house from Dresden. Karl and Rudi will take an airplane from somewhere in Germany and will arrive on Sunday the 2. of March. This guy will try our guest room with Karl -sorry I didn't have a photo- and I will take them out to explore Hong Kong and the surroundings. So I guess that there will be some more posts in the next couple of weeks, cos if I don't do it, I guess they will.

Todays Traktor

Is from Central district on Hong Kong island, where they reclaim land for the new harbor front with a promenade and - of course, it's Hong Kong- some high rises. If the reclaiming of land continues with the same speed it have had the last 30 years, I guess there will be no Victoria harbor in 50 years.
