Have spent the weekend at a google education summit. Big themes have been social media and connectivity. We are all writing notes and tapping away on our several devices and a lot of it goes online immediately on various platforms like google+, twitter, Facebook and what ever is out there! But who is in fact reading all this? Is it anything that we need to do. At this moment it is mostly texts, photoessays and a bit of video that are shared on these multiple platforms, but soon, when Google glasses gets out there, we will get to a time when everyone is sharing their own experiences in real time as video feed.
Going to be like in the movie Strange Days from 1995 by Kathryn Bigelow, where actual experiences are being recorded directly from the brain of the people people living it. With the glasses it is just going to be like watching video, where in Bigelows vision also included emotions, feelings and smells.
But isn't it just a matter of time before that too is possible?
