There's TGIF and then there's TGITF.

It is probably the day that most people are waiting for all week, Friday. But this is the special one of Fridays that people are waiting for the most of the year?

It is the HOLIDAY Friday. Last week of school, done. Last day of school, done. HOLIDAY.

That is why I say TGITF!

Thank God I's That Friday!

A vacuum? Yes, but what a vacuum.

HOLIDAY and about 6 weeks of freedom ahead.

Yes I know that we are lucky, having teachers holidays, but this post is not meant as any provocation or as being big headed, this is solemnly trying to describe an emotion, that I think I share with anyone on this planet, and not depending on the duration of a holiday, but the feeling when the last Friday of work is over and the big summer holiday is ahead.

How do you feel?

Great, right?

And a little uneasy, coz what to do with all that time and that freedom?

We spend some days here to gain some sleep, an then we are gone and our landlady is going to raise the rent.

Typically Hong Kong. And you do not know why? She wanted more money, so we said we wanted a new bathroom. That's just fair, otherwise the rent will just go up every two years without any improvements.

By the way. Our semi son Albi has graduated and is now a grown up young man -as you can see - on his way to study music in Leeds. I will truly miss him here in Hong Kong.
