First morning in Madrid. Arrived very late in the evening coz our Russian carrier decided that it was a day to being late. Both on our flights from Hong Kong as from Moscow to Madrid. So instead of arriving late in the afternoon, it became nearly midnight before we were put outside our Madrid centro hotel.
I am one of those guys who like to show that an e-mail is Sent from my iPad.
Completely worn out by 22 hours of traveling, we still managed to put our guts together and go out for awe spell into the famous nightlife of Madrid. Not that we were out for long partying in one of the thousands of nightclubs, just a wee walk to one of the beautiful bars around Sol in the center.
day two are being planned at the breakfast table by wif and lonely planet, while I am typing away in this digital diary, that once should go online, if the hotel wifi connection allows it to. And who knows when that is going to be; probably mañana!
breakfast at the hotel was good, both for people from the "island" as for other who are not as fussy eaters.
