December 1. 2013.

If the weather stays like this, I am not sorry that we are having a stay-cation this Christmas. How can it be better than this.

Warm, not hot and humid, clear sky and low pollution. Awesome. Am in the house but at the same time outside coz I can have the big doors to the balcony open, and can enjoy the view and the warmth of the sun. To make the Sunday even perfecter, if that's a word, I have made a fresh pot of Chinese tea and are about to head out for a big walk in the country park.

WifeX is at a workshop at the "Gold Coast" of Hong kong, so I am on my own. Yesterday was kind of a Christmas shopping day for me. It all started at our own school where the yearly Christmas fair was on. Later I took my time going through some of the frenzy busy Mong Kok markets on a hunt for some small and bigger presents.

These markets can be exhausting, but they are also very entertaining and going through them is like a journey into mankinds urge to get cheap stuff, you do not really need, even cheaper. If you do not have time, it is a hazzle and frustrating as you can't really get anywhere fast coz of the crowds, but if you do have time and are patient, you can have a good couple of hours and can find good bargains. I enjoy going there and find stuff for presents and then just observe life going on.

If you think I am going to tell what all got into my backpack, you are going to be disappointed, as I am not. However one thing I can give away here is that it was very heavy and the amount of money in my pocket got decimated.

Happy first Sunday in advent.
