<div style="text-align: right;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">A different perspective.</span></div>

It is not always you get to chose your own perspective, is it. The way you look at things may vary but how often do one get to spend time enjoying a perspective that is commonly unused.

This weekend I had such a possibility. I got to spend time and watch from a place that is normally not used as a viewpoint, not even a place where people come. I am at my working place but are sitting on the top of an exit door from our gym. A kind of "not" space. It is a space yet, a kind of a platform, but a platform without any purpose, other than to be the roof over an exit.

Why am I sitting here right now? Good question.

At this weekend we are hosting an international volleyball tournament and we are filming all games to make them accessible for people from the schools that have travelled here from many different places.

So this "not" space hs become a camera plat form and does in fact offer quite a good view to one of the. courts.

Urban + Jungle, Urban Jungle

From high above Shatin, the 10.000 Buddhas temple. To get up there you possible has to manage 10.000 steps as well. Today there was a monkey raid on the offerings at the temple. A herd of monkeys managed to stir up the calmness a bit, to both joy and distress for all of the visitors.

Train trip to Tai O.

No you cannot do that, but you can take the train to Tung Chung and then a bus all the way to the far west of Lantau island, and there visit this very fascinating place. It is still a part of Hong Kong, yet so far away from the glittery and shiny facades in Central and TST. Tai O is one of the biggest stilts villages in Asia.

Brother @ Buddha

Saturday, mega train travel day, and bus and later even a ferry. First stop was big Buddha at Ngong Ping. Thought we were gonna ride the cable car as well but we gave up as the line there was about 45 mins of waiting. Instead it became a bus ride over the mountains of Lantau island. Winding roads and an engine on a mission. The bus managed the hills and we managed the 251 steps up to the big Buddha and the fine view from there.

Friday morning in Macau.

First image could be from the series called "Hotel Views".
This from Best Western, Taipa. The hotel is not really anything to write home about, just some kind of box where you put stuff and sleep. Next two pictures could be from the series: "Digital devices killed social interaction, yet connected people". Henrik is still kind of old fashioned and looking through the book shelf's at the wee Cuppa Coffee place in Macau.

To be tourist in Macau.

It has been a long day with a lot of travelling. One minibus, two trains, one ferry, another bus and then the good old tired legs. Anyway. Now it is Macau, and Macau seen through the camera.

Mathildes panorama

Mathilde went out for a walk on her own one day. None of us older ones felt like it as it was the day after Henriks birthday, so we were either too tired or we were hung over.
Anyway, Mathilde went for a walk to find some chips, as she said. As I heard about this, I imagined that she just went down the road towards Sai Kung, as it would have been the most sensible thing to do, but no, she went in the opposite direction and got herself all the way to Ma On Shan.

Tillykke med fødselsdagen.

For første gang i Hong Kong, Henrik holder fødselsdag.

2000 and something kilometer south west of home...

This place has some similarities with my home town, and again then not. It is an Asian World City, it is safe and diverse, and rich, but is not as tall as Hong Kong.
Tall in the meaning of the houses and the mountains. Here there is much more space and the city is spreading out horizontal because it can. At home in Hong Kong the city is also expanding, but vertically. Up and up. On this picture below, you can see a crane that has tipped over. It is at one of the many building sites you can see here all the time, and this particularly one happens to be just next to the building where I've been for the last couple of days,. I didn't see it happening though, and in fact I was told that it happened about 3 weeks ago.

I am in Singapore on a 4 day trip and participating at a educational workshop, Learning 2.013.

Have got a lot new stuff to put into my brain and at this moment I am just chilling out in the library waiting for the last session and the final reception and some social networking. After that maybe another we visit to iconic Raffles Hotel and their famous "Singapore Sling".
